Get back to the basics as we explore how our food gets to the fridge, pantry and dinner table. Learn about nutrition, visit local growers and producers—and, most importantly, eat! Use local ingredients to plan, prepare and share dishes that will combine all your knowledge into a nutritious masterpiece!

This camp will focus on the enhancement of the following Essential Skills

Continuous learning, Reading, Thinking

SAFETY NOTE: Campers are required to adhere to the safety precautions outlined by the instructors; safety infractions may lead to removal from the camp.

Subject to availability.

All campers are required to wear closed-toe shoes and full-length pants in the kitchen or labs. Participants with long hair should bring elastics to tie back their hair.

Camp includes the preparation of foods containing nuts, fish and seafood. SAIT’s kitchens and bakeries process nuts and other allergens.
